Make sure you take the correct safety precautions when using a Reciprocating Saw: Eye Protection, Ear Protection, Gloves & Facemask (depending on the material), Closed toed shoes, and appropriate Clothing.

Cutting out could be a result of many varied reasons from the blade, tool use, power supply or application.

Check battery charge and remove obstructions for battery-powered saw; inspect cord and assembly for corded models. Contact warranty if unresolved.

RYOBI Reciprocating saws can cut timber, small tree branches, metals, plastic, plaster/ drywall, depending on the blade inserted.

Reciprocating saws are used for straight cuts in larger materials which need to be cut down into smaller pieces.

All Ryobi Battery and AC (Corded) Reciprocating Saws accept a Universal shank Blade designed to fit every Reciprocating Saw.

It is recommended to use a 4.0ah battery or higher for optimum runtime and performance. Smaller batteries can be used, but often they will have reduced runtimes and performance levels.
