RYOBI Reciprocating saws do not require any major assembly to get started. However, the blade is not inserted into the Reciprocating Saw when you unbox the unit, so you will need to fit the blade correctly before operation.
- - Choose the correct blade for the desired cutting application.
- - Make sure your ONE+ battery has been removed or the power turned off and unplugged before making any blade replacements.
- - All Ryobi Reciprocating saws accept a Universal shank Blade designed to fit every Reciprocating Saw.
- - All Ryobi Reciprocating Saws feature a quick-change Lever for blade replacement.
- - To change blades on Reciprocating saws that feature a quick-change Lever, lift the lever up and insert the blade as far as possible then release the lever to spring back to its resting position - this will lock the blade into place.
Make sure to check the blade is fitted tight/ snug and before connecting to power or cutting
