28/01/2026, 16:50

Attaching the Sanding Disc/Belt

  • Ensure the sanding disc matches your sander’s size specifications.
  • Align the disc with the sander’s pad before securing.
  • For hook-and-loop systems, press the disc firmly onto the pad.
  • For clamp/belt systems, fasten the disc/belt tightly to prevent slipping during use.

Operating the sander

  • Plug in or insert Battery
  • Hold the sander firmly by the handle and power it on while off the surface.
  • Lower the sander gently so the pad sits flat against the material.
  • Apply light, consistent pressure—let the sander’s weight do the work.
  • On wood, sand in the direction of the grain for a smooth finish.
  • Move steadily with overlapping strokes to avoid swirl marks and uneven sanding.
  • Stop periodically to inspect progress and prevent over-sanding.

Tips for avoiding sanding mistakes

  • Replace sandpaper as soon as it shows wear or clogging for best results.
  • Keep the sander moving, staying in one spot can create dips and uneven surfaces.
  • Clear dust regularly to maintain visibility and prevent buildup from affecting performance.
