- Start by mowing the lawn to roughly 4cm in height, too long and the scarifier will not be able to remove the top layer of dead grass and roots.
- Once you have mowed, choose a suitable height setting depending on your lawn. For deep scarifying in thick grass choose a higher depth setting and for thin grass select a lower setting.
