What to check for when fitting your disc:
- The internal diameter of the disc must sit flush inside the inner flange.
- The outside diameter must have even clearance from the guard and must not touch or rub against the guard.
- You may use brush wheels, diamond cup wheels and flap discs, but they must meet the conventions outlined above.
- Removing the guard, incorrect fitment, and use of accessories with incompatible conventions can also cause damage to the tool and harm to the user.
- Not all Angle Grinders are equipped for cutting or grinding; check that the grinder you have is up to the task and the disc is rated for the speed that the tool can produce.
