Belt sanders can place high demands on battery life, especially during heavy sanding tasks. For longer runtime and better performance, use high-capacity batteries such as a RYOBI 18V ONE+ 4Ah battery or higher.

If a sanding belt remains loose after tensioning, it is likely the belt size is too large for the belt sander. Always check and use the correct sanding belt size, as belt sander belts are not interchangeable between different models.
