RYOBI Router will not turn on

Troubleshooting power issues 

Safety First 

• Always disconnect battery/disconnect power cord before making any adjustments. 
• Always wear gloves while changing bits. 
   

For battery-powered Trim Routers: 

1. Check the battery 
   • Check the charge level. If the battery is low or empty, charge it fully. 
2. Check for damage 
   • Inspect the bit and base assembly for any signs of wear, damage or obstructions. 
3. Check the battery 
   • To determine if the battery is defective, test it in a different compatible tool. This will help identify whether the issue lies with the battery or the Trim Router. 
      

For AC (corded) Trim Routers: 

1. Inspect the power cord  
   • Check for any signs of damage, fraying or wear. Do not use the tool if the cord is damaged. 
2. Check for damage 
   • Check the bit and base assembly for wear or obstructions. 
      

Still not working? 
If the issue persists and your tool is still within the warranty period, return it to Bunnings along with your receipt or proof of purchase for a warranty assessment.
