Chain is dry and causing tension when cutting

Has the oil reservoir been filled?
Ryobi chainsaws have an automatic oiling system that delivers lubrication to the chain as it runs. Check if the oil reservoir is filled with the appropriate chain and bar oil. If it's empty or low, fill it with the recommended oil for your chainsaw. Ryobi recommends using Power Fit 500ml Bar and Chain Oil (0346067)
