Inconsistent cutting

Has the chain been sharpened or replaced?
A dull chain affects cutting performance. Inspect the cutting teeth; if worn, sharpen the chain or replace it. Check the Ryobi YouTube page for a tutorial.

Has the chain been fitted correctly?
Ensure proper chain tension for optimal cutting. Adjust the tension using the knob on the side of the unit if it's too loose or too tight.
