Impact Wrenches have a Square Anvil that doesn’t accept driver bits, though it can accept ¼” hex bits through the purchase of an adaptor.

While technically they can do similar tasks & look similar in shape, both have their advantages dependant on the task.

Cutting out could be a result of Many different reasons from the bit, tool use, power supply or application.

If RYOBI Impact Wrench won’t turn on, check the battery. If the issue isn’t resolved and the Tool is still within the warranty period, take it back to Bunnings along with your receipt or proof of purchase for warranty assessment.

“A” mode (Auto-tight) will cut the wrench out at a certain level, to prevent overtightening and damage of a fastener.

Impact wrenches are designed for fast and powerful fastening and loosening of nuts and bolts.

The ring on the end of the square anvil is called a friction ring & it is designed to prevent the socket from falling off.

It's recommended to use a 4.0ah battery or higher for optimum runtime and performance. Smaller batteries can be used, but often they will have reduced runtimes and performance levels.

Ryobi 18v ONE+ Impact Wrenches will take ½” Impact Rated sockets. Generally, these will be coloured black and won’t have a silver or chrome appearance.
