Battery type
- You may not be using the right battery capacity for your tool or task. Where more power is required, larger battery packs are recommended. Batteries with higher amp-hour ratings provide more power to run higher-powered tools.
For example, a 2Ah battery will be sufficient to run a small tool, like a drill, for a full project. But will not have the required run time on a power-hungry tool like a lawn mower.
In the case of a powerful tool a, larger battery, like a 4Ah or larger would be better.
Storage
- It is recommended to store batteries in a charged state (minimum 30-50%, 2 -3 bars)
- Store batteries in locations sheltered from extreme temperatures and humidity. Recommended: dry, cool, and ventilated area.
Heavy use
- Continuous use at peak power can drain the battery faster. Use the appropriate power setting for your task to conserve battery life.
- Use quality accessories to improve the performance of your tool and save battery life.
Dirt or battery contacts
- Dirt and debris can interfere with the tool and battery. Ensure it is clean and free from any dirt or debris. Clean with a dry cloth if necessary.
