What to do if your RYOBI Lawn Mower isn't catching grass?

Safety First: Remove the battery and the isolator/red safety key from the mower.
Important: Always wear protective gloves before any maintenance.

Start by checking for blockages – These commonly occur in the chute between the mower deck and the catcher, obstructing airflow and preventing grass from being properly directed into the catcher. Remove the catcher and remove and grass or debris from the chute.

Wet or overgrown conditions are often the cause of such blockages. Wait until the grass is dry and cut at a higher height and lower down after each pass to desired height of grass.
