What to do if your RYOBI Hedge Trimmer blades are sticking

Before completing any maintenance ensure:
- If battery model: battery is removed
- If electric model: unplugged from mains power
- If petrol model: unit is turned off
Clean the blades with a dry brush or cloth.
Lubricating the blades will also help to clean off sticky material, like sap.
- Use a plant friendly lubricant before and after every use.
- Run the unit to help clear the sticky material.
