Clearing a Jam in Your Brad Nailer
Safety First

• Disconnect the tool from the air supply before performing any checks.
• Always keep the tool pointed away from yourself and others.
   

Jam Clearing Steps

1. Remove all fasteners from the magazine.
2. Lift the latch and open the jam release mechanism.
3. Insert a flat-blade screwdriver into the driving mechanism and push the driver back to free the jammed fastener.
4. Carefully remove the jammed nail.
5. Close the jam release and secure the latch.
6. Reconnect the air supply.
7. Reload fasteners into the magazine.
    

Fastener & Magazine Maintenance

• Use the correct gauge nails for your nailer model.
• Refer to the ratings plate on your tool for specifications.
• Confirm the collation angle of the nails matches the magazine design.
• Ensure nails are straight, clean, and free of corrosion.
• Keep the magazine clean and dry.
• Remove any sticky residue regularly—especially with frequent use.
