Ensure that the soil conditions are suited to your cultivator.
18V & 36V Battery: Ensure that your battery is sufficiently charged before use.
Petrol: Make sure that the fuel you are using is less than 30 days old. Stale fuel will foul the engine. If your unit is more than 1 year old it may require a service.
