How to setup starting height of RYOBI Thicknesser cutters

Before you begin, it's recommended you wear eye and ear protection and a pair of quality gloves to protect your hands from splinters.
To get a starting height for the cutting drum, wind the handle up and slide the timber in.
Next wind the handle back until the cutter just rests on the timber.
Noting the position of the handle, wind it back up two-turns and slide the timber out.
To set your first planning depth, wind the handle exactly 3 turns, 2 turns to get you back to the top of the timber, and one to get the cutters at the first planning depth of around 1mm
