RYOBI Compressors require a synthetic oil SAE-30, commonly found in small petrol engines such as lawn mowers - it needs less than 1 litre for topping up.
You can put too much oil in an Air Compressor, so it’s important you put in the right amount of oil.
Too much oil is just as damaging as not enough, so check that the oil is at the right level.
Ensure your unit is secure, sitting on a level surface.
The Oil Fill Hole Cap can be found at the front of your Air Compressor.
Using a long-necked funnel to assist in the pouring process will make the job of adding oil into the Air Compressor a lot cleaner and easier.
Check the level of the oil as you add it via the viewing window found below the Oil Fill Cap of the Compressor.
The correct amount of oil is when it reaches the red dot in the oil viewing window, located in the front of the pump.
