Drill Drivers do not have a safety clutch for core drilling.
 
Purchase a RYOBI 1500W SDS+ Rotary Hammer Drill (RSDS1500-K) for core drilling applications, which will have a mechanical/electronic safety clutch to disengage the tool during binding.
