The most common driver bit type is a Phillips Head or PH2 Driver Bit (a four-pointed star).
Most commonly there will be a selection of Driver bits with different head types available to purchase.
A typical Ryobi Drill Driver will accept bits in the adjustable chuck between 2mm to 13mm. Most typical driver bits will have a standard ¼” Hex fitment for compatibility with both Drill Drivers and Impact Drivers.
The Bit you use depends on the screws you are using & it’s important to use the correct Driver Bit for your application, which can be determined by checking the packaging of the driver Bits.
Even high-quality ones can be purchased for relatively low cost - high quality accessories can greatly improve the performance of a tool and are strongly recommended for better performance.
